Privacy policy
AfterPrompt is built to know as little about you as possible. There are no ads. Sign-in and language use necessary cookies. Optional product analytics stay off until you accept them, and they are there to understand whether the games, sign-in, Jev, and credit purchases work. This page lists everything the website and the plugin collect. The controller is Inchi LLC, 471 Chuy Ave, Bishkek 720001, Kyrgyzstan. Contact: info@afterprompt.games.
From the plugin
The AfterPrompt plugin for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, and Codex can open a game in a browser window while your agent works. When it does, it creates a game session on our server with the game ID, the agent’s name (for example “claude” or “codex”), and timestamps. It never sends prompts, code, file paths, or transcripts. Sessions are deleted automatically after 24 hours. The plugin keeps its own state, a log, and a separate browser profile in ~/.afterprompt on your computer. We never see them.
When you play
- Account: your email address, a random user ID, and a public player number.
- Authentication: a short-lived email code and an account session. Email codes are stored only as hashes and expire after ten minutes.
- Scores: your best verified run per level: move count, whether undo was used, and when. We replay the moves to verify them, then keep only the result.
- Saved 2K48 games: the tree’s commits, current position, level, score, and last-opened time, so you can continue in the same account.
- Challenges: when you create one, we keep its level, verified move count, undo mark, creation time, and the player number shown when it was created. Anyone with the link can see it and play the same level.
- Checkpoints: if you publish a position from Chess or 2K48, we keep that position, its title, your player number, and the replay needed to open it again. Anyone with a public link can open it.
- Your browser: local storage holds Goo progress, sound settings, and any old 2K48 save until it has been recovered to your account.
Player numbers and best scores appear on public leaderboards. A challenge link is public and keeps its creator’s player number until that account is deleted.
Character arena
We keep your character name, model choice, private doctrine versions, match results, credit charges and return-report timestamp. Publishing a character makes its name, model, ranking and match replays public. The text of your doctrine is not included in public API responses. Each model receives its own character’s doctrine and the previous round history, never the opposing private doctrine or the opponent’s current move. Do not put personal information in a doctrine. Arena request-body collection in AI Gateway is disabled; operational logs contain match IDs and failure codes.
Account deletion removes your characters and their private doctrine versions. Match replays archived as anonymous move logs contain no account ID or doctrine text. Other participants may retain their match history with the character name recorded when the match began.
Creating puzzles and Warlocks outfits
When you create an AI puzzle, chess collection or Warlocks outfit, the configured AI service receives your creation prompt and the game or outfit constraints needed to produce it. We keep the purchase receipt and generated result so you can recover a completed creation. A published challenge or collection is accessible to anyone with its link. Public party replays contain gameplay and character snapshots, without private doctrine text or account credentials. Avoid personal information in creation prompts and public character names.
Former autoplay records
Jev/Kimi autoplay in Goo and 2K48 has been retired. Requests to the former autoplay and run-creation endpoints return a retirement response without reading the game state, authenticating, spending credits, or calling a model. Previously, autoplay sent board states, legal moves, earlier moves and optional coaching instructions to Cloudflare Workers AI through AI Gateway. Historical run and credit-usage records remain for account linking, refunds and accounting; they do not enable new autoplay sessions.
Former anonymous trials used a random account ID and session without an email. When an anonymous identity links to an account, historical run ownership moves to that account and the trial usage is cleared. Purchased balances and existing account allowances are preserved.
AI credits and purchases
We keep your paid credit balance, how many free credits you used each day, and a record of each pack you bought.
Payment happens in Paddle’s checkout. Paddle is the Merchant of Record and handles your payment details, email, and address under its own privacy policy. We receive the transaction ID, Paddle’s customer ID, the amount, and the currency, and store them with your account so the credits can be added, refunded, or restored. We never see your card.
Product analytics
If you accept the notice on the site, we use PostHog in its EU region to record a small set of product events, such as opening AfterPrompt, starting or completing a game, using Jev, signing in, viewing a credit pack, and completing a purchase. Events use a random browser identifier or your internal account ID, plus the platform, screen path, game, pack, payment provider, and credit counts. We don’t send your email, prompts, coaching text, or game state. Autocapture and session replay are disabled. If you decline, PostHog is not loaded.
Cookies and local storage
AfterPrompt does not use advertising cookies.
- Necessary. A session cookie keeps you signed in. A language cookie (
afterprompt-language) remembers English or Russian for a year. The site cannot keep those choices without them, so they are set without the consent banner. - Analytics, only if you accept. PostHog is configured with
localStoragepersistence, so its identifier is stored in local storage rather than a cookie. We do not load PostHog until you choose Accept. Decline is stored underafterprompt.analytics.consentand PostHog is not loaded. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes that choice and shows the notice again. Page views record the page address, the referrer, and campaign (UTM) parameters.
Service providers
- Cloudflare hosts the site, its database, and game content, sends sign-in emails, and runs Jev (Workers AI and AI Gateway). It processes requests, including your IP address, and keeps short-lived logs to run and protect the service.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces, so your browser requests them from Google.
- Paddle handles payments, as above.
- GitHub hosts the plugin, so GitHub sees the request when you install or update it.
- PostHog stores and analyzes the limited product events described above in its EU region, and only after you accept.
These providers process data in several countries, including the United States and the European Union. We use them only to run AfterPrompt, and we never sell your data.
How long we keep it
- Agent sessions: 24 hours.
- Sign-in codes: ten minutes.
- Account, profile, scores, challenges, checkpoints, credit balance, and daily Jev usage: until you delete your account.
- Former anonymous trial accounts: until you sign in or ask us to delete them.
- AI Gateway and hosting logs: only as long as needed to operate and protect the service.
- Product analytics: retained under our PostHog account until removed under our retention settings or on a valid deletion request.
Deleting your account removes your purchase records from our database. Paddle keeps its own record of the transaction as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can see your player number in the account panel of any game, and delete your account there with Delete account. You can also email info@afterprompt.games from your account email to see, correct, export, or delete your data, or to object to how we use it. We may send a fresh verification code before acting on the request. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
AfterPrompt is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we start collecting anything new, we’ll update this page and its date first.
